Case Energy Utility Company

Case Description

An Energy Utility Company in the Netherlands decided to cut operational costs by operating mid-size power plants remotely from a nearby large power plant. This included first only the stand-by mid-size power plants but was extended to a actually running mid-size power plant.

Case Results
N

Our approach resulted in a broadened scope of this initiative to a wider perspective in which the technical part, which was the main part originally, seemed to be one of the easier tasks in the whole program.

N

In the end they were successful in introducing remote-operating of a the mid-size power plant(s) as a new service.

Case Energy Utility Company

Case Description

An Energy Utility Company in the Netherlands decided to implement a standard ERP system to replace the existing developed IT systems to support (plant) maintenance, (plant) operation, HR and Finance.

Case Results
N

Our approach resulted in a complete and consistent set of input data and a repeatable and validated migration process which included the validation and accountability of the financial details of the stock, transactions and value of the company before and after the migration.

N

As a bonus the Data Migration platform and the Data Migration governance process could be used on a frequent bases after the ERP implementation to determine the Data Quality of the ERP platform. This shows that using ISF/3 the failure of an ERP implementation was prevented because of the lack of attention of the entire surroundings on such a ‘simple’ process as ‘translating-input-data-to-output-data’, also known as Data Migration
